International Programs School (Saudi Arabia)

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the International Programs School (IPS) in Saudi Arabia I am pleased to announce that Ms. Holly Bredemann has been appointed as the new Secondary Principal for the Girls Section Grades 6-12. Ms. Bredemann will be joining IPS in August 2026.  

Ms. Bredemann is currently serving as the Secondary Principal at Achieve Xiamen International School, in Xiamen, China. Her previous experiences include serving as Science Teacher & Grade 8 Lead at the Emirates National School in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, Foreign Trainer at Disney English in Nanjing, China, Middle School Science Teacher at Junction Elementary School in Palo Cedro, CA, Middle School Teacher at Castle Rock School in Castella, CA, and Middle School Math Intervention Teacher at Sequoia Middle School in Redding, CA.

Ms. Bredemann holds an Associate of Arts in General Education from Shasta College in Redding, CA, an Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education from Shasta College in Redding, CA, a Bachelor of Arts from the National University in Redding, CA, and a Master of Education, specializing in Best Practices, from the National University in Redding, CA. Additionally, Ms. Bredemann holds a School Management and Leadership Certificate from the Harvard Business School. 

The IPS Search Committee selected Ms. Bredemann from a very strong pool of candidates based on her close alignment to IPS’ curricula, instructional approaches, and initiatives, in addition to her previous experience working in the Arabian Gulf.  

 

Dr. Peter Coles, IPS Head of School, shared the following about the search process and Ms. Bredemann’s appointment: 

 

Ms. Bredemann looks forward to serving as the next IPS Secondary Principal for the Girls Section. In response to her appointment, Ms. Bredemann shared the following:

I am truly honored to be appointed as the new Secondary Principal of the Girls School at IPS. I am grateful to Dr. Coles, the Board, and Search Associates for their confidence in me, and I look forward to partnering with students, staff, and families as we continue to advance the IPS 2030 strategy. It is a privilege to join such a vibrant community, and I am excited about the opportunities ahead to support our students in thriving both academically and personally.
